*NSYNC - "Bye Bye Bye"

The members of *NSYNC slowly descend onto the screen, framed by a puppet theater and attached to strings as though they are marionettes. The camera pans up, revealing a girl who is amusedly manipulating the strings to make the boys perform some coordinated dance moves. As the vocals begin, the puppet master cuts Chris’ and Joey’s strings, and the scene changes to blue sky as they fall through the air. They land on top of a moving train, look back to see the female puppet master chasing them, and run for their lives. They take refuge in the train and disguise themselves amongst the passengers. We then see the puppet master cut Justin’s strings, and he lands in a dark and mysterious warehouse. He gives the camera a chuckle, does a barrel roll under a raised gate, and runs away from the girl and her two giant dogs out into the rainy night. Finally, the puppet master cuts Lance’s and JC’s strings, and the two boys land in a fancy red sports car. The girl is not far behind in her matching fancy silver sports car, but they are able to outmaneuver her and get away. This narrative is interspersed with short clips of all five boys doing synchronized dance moves in a small room - sometimes upside-down, and sometimes sideways.
